The Caboosssss is here!!
On Saturday March 26th, it was my turn to sleep in. And I did until a little after 11 am. I layed in bed and just checked my phone, facebook, Instagram, email, etc. I didn't feel anything while laying in bed. So I finally got outta bed to deal with the day. I got something to drink, then I just went back to laying on the couch while the kids played/fighting around me. Finally I asked Ryan to go and take the kids for a drive and grab me a Mexi-fries deluxe from Taco Time. He kinda hesitated, but then agreed to. He was going to pick up a Booster juice for everyone, then my mexi-fries. He took the older kids, and left Myles with me. I was still laying on the couch, and I kinda moved and felt a pain. I just thought it was how I was laying, but the pain stayed for awhile. I kinda thought it was a contractions, but didn't want to get people hyped up. I remember even looking outside to see if Ryan had driven off yet( he hadn't) but I just brushed it off. Then another pain came!!! I again brushed it off, but it was a little bit stronger. I sat up on the couch and just started to get scared, and I may have cried. Myles was looking at me concerned, but I didn't care, I knew it was going to come. So I started to time the contractions and bounce on the yoga ball. The contractions started coming every 5mins. I started shaking, and calling, calling, and calling Ryan to get his BUTT HOME!!!! I could not get a hold of him. So I decided to call my parents, my dad answered. I asked if mom was there, and he said no, shes getting her hair done. Then I started to get the chin quiver, and I told my dad I was going to start to cry. And I did. I tried to get the words out that I'm in labour and I need him to come and get Myles. I was so ready to go to the hospital by myself if I had to just to get the magic epidural. My dad said he'd be right over! After I got off the phone I kept trying to get a hold of Ryan, but still no answer. I sat on the bouncy ball bawling, scared, not knowing what I should do. I knew I needed to get to the hospital!!! Finally I snapped out of it and told myself I needed to get my hospital bag ready. So I grabbed the last things that needed to be packed in between contractions. I kept thinking my water was going to break, there was ALOT of pressure down there. Finally I heard the kids come in yelling " mom, did your water break?" I told them no, but I needed to get to the hospital!!!! Like 25 mins ago!!! Ryan came in behind them and he had a little panick on his face. I told him it's time, and my dad should be here any min to get the kids. Sure enough, he was right outside. When he was leaving the house, my mom had pulled up and she had Myles car seat in her car. So instead of putting it in dads car, she was just going to put the groceries in the house, and then meet dad at our house. I said your here to dad, put the kids outside with him while he waited for my mom, and then Ryan and I left for the hospital. I was getting contractions every 2-3 mins now and they HURT!!! We only live 3 blocks away from the hospital, but it seemed like Ryan was driving sooooooo slow!!! I told him to drop me off at the doors, then go and park while I register. I registered( felt like the lady was going soooo slow), and then she finished-handed me the papers. She then looked at me like "you can go now" and someone was behind me waiting to register as well.....But I couldn't move!!! I was having a contraction. I told her just to hang on while I finish this contraction. OUCH!!!
I then walked into the hospital and Ryan was waiting for me to go up stairs to L&D. He was really moving, but I couldn't keep up with him. Again toooooo much pressure down there. So I asked him to grab me a wheel chair and off we went. So I got buzzed into L&D and the nurses station is at the end of the hallway and one of the nurses was my friend Jen. There was another nurse with her, but Jen said she's going to take care of me, it's her turn!!! I Immdietly told Jen that I wanted an epidural, and that the last delivery came so fast that the nurse delivered my baby. She quickly got my weight and asked me if I needed to go to the bathroom. I said no, she then skipped the checking room and put me right into a delivery room. Jen told me to get into a gown right away so she could ck my dilation and to get the epidural ordered. I don't think Ive changed so fast in my life!!! I quickly got on the bed, and she checked me. In my mind I was thinking a 3, but nope!!! Jen nicely told me I was a 6-7 cm dilated and will have a baby in my arms within an hour!!! I started to cry and said I don't want that, I want an epidural. Jen was so sweet to me and said "I'll do fine, everything will be fine" "Ive done this before, and I can do it again". That didn't help at the time, and it made me do the ugly cry ;( Jen then offered me Morphine to help with the pain, but she needed to get ahold of Dr. Orr first. Of course he was away, so she had to get Dr. Burton to come back to the hospital. He ok'd for me to have some morphine, but she also told the dr. to hurry or she will have to deliver the baby. She checked me quickly between painful contractions before she could give me morphine. I was already at 7-8 cm......YIKEESS!!!! She gave me the morphine and I got a contraction right away again. They were PAINFUL!!!!! LOTS OF PRESSURE!!! I cried out to Jen saying she needed to give me more morphine, and she said I'm doing great just breath!!! She then told me in between contractions I'm going to feel sleepy because of the morphine. She was right, it felt great, but the contractions were coming every min. So I wasn't getting my rest between. I then told Jen that I felt like I needed to push, so then she checked me and I was an 8cm. Finally the dr walked in. He was going to gown up but thought he's be ok to ck me and break my water. I was still 8 cm, and he broke my water. SWEET JESUS that felt so good for that min. Dr. Burton kept pushing to get the water out, he even said " do you always have this much fluid?" I told him yes, but I've never had my water break for me. It's the strangest feeling, but it felt sooooooo much better. That's when the Dr. noticed that the baby had a bowl movement inside of me and they needed to get him out. They also called the NICU to come to take care of the baby. No more pressure, BUT those dam contractions were hurting!!! Then I started to feel like I was going to throw up, so Ryan got the bucket beside the bed( I never did throw up). During all this Ryan was just by my side, holding my hand, telling me to breath etc. I think he was trying to take this all in, but it was happening so fast!!! And I don't think he(or anyone) likes to see someone in pain. Jen was busy getting the stuff ready to deliver. The dr. was getting gowned up after I got some fluid on him. He checked me again, and I was only at a 9 now!!!! I still couldn't push, but there was so much pressure!!! I felt like I had to push, but the dr. kept saying you can push after your next 2 contractions. I started to cry a little again....... so after the 2 contractions he ck'd me again and I was a 9 1/2. There was a little lip ( that's what he said) so he said to wait after the next contraction. I was in pain, I could feel he was right there!!! Finally the dr. said I could push and he was going to hold that little lip outta the way when I push. I didn't even hesitate when that contraction started........I PUSHED!!!!!and then I pooped (whooopppssss) the dr. said it happens. On the next contraction I pushed and the head came out!!!!! I knew I was halfway there!!!!! The dr. told me to wait with the pushing because the cord was a little tight around the neck. So the next contraction came, and I wanted him out!!!! So I pushed with all my might I could feel the shoulders come out and the rest of the body just slid out!!! Jen was such a great nurse cheering me on, telling me I could do this!!! Same with Ryan. When he came out, I started bawling covering my face( ugly cry again) knowing I would never EVER have to do this again!!! With a room full of nurses(4 including NICU & Jen), Dr. Burton, and Ryan and I- it didn't stop me from crying. While the baby was getting checked out, I still had to deliver the placenta.....that is not fun when you didn't get the magic epidural. Jen really had to push on my stomach to help get it out. I even grabbed her arm because she was pushing so hard!!! I got 1 stitch. The baby was fine, and nursed right away while I lay'd in bed. Ryan took picture's. While Jen went and did her notes Ryan and I kept kinda talking about names. We called my mom, and she said she'd be right up with Myles. I told her to wait because I was still in the delivery room. Jen came back to get me showered and cleaned up and told me from the time I got to L&D it took me 1 hr and 27 mins till the baby was born. She also said if my water broke at home, I would have delivered him at home. So thank goodness the Dr. had to break my water :)
Myles and my mom came, but they had to wait in the waiting room until I was getting transported to my private room. Once Jen wheeled me outta L&D there they were. Dylan & Quincy were at the movies with my dad. Myles was acting all shy, and doing this funny nervous laugh when meeting his little brother. My mom and Myles walked along with us to my room, and they finally got to hold the NEW BABY!!!!
Ryan and I took along time to decide on this babies name. We had thrown out alot of names, but Ryan always went back to Royce. So literally just before we walked out of the room the next day we finally decided on his name Royce( it's a music group that Ryan listened too) Edward ( after my dads grandpa or great grandpa) Taylor( after a musician that Ryan likes just passed away a couple weeks before his birth) Coppieters. 8 pounds 4 oz. Born with ALOT of hair ( I did have A LOT of heartburn, so if the wives tale is true) I just can't believe he is all mine!!!! That that little bub is all mine, and he came out of me!!!! I can't wait to see what this little guy brings to the family of ALL BOYZ!!!!!

Leading up to the 4th baby...
Before I blog about the 4th birth, I want to write down how crazy life was before.
So at about 26 weeks preggo I took the gestational diabetes test that all ladies take. I failed!!! So if you fail, then you need to take a 2hr test. I followed up with my dr, and he said Im just on the border line of having gestational diabetes. He wanted me to be safe and check my blood sugars first thing in the morning, and just before 1 meal during the day. I didn't this for about 2 weeks, and I never went over 8. But I still was kinda watching what I would eat, but also thought this is my last pregnancy ;)So with having to deal with that, I also had to deal with High Blood pressure. I always seem to get HB when preggo, so my dr. put me on some meds to help with it.

Baby number 3... OY!!!
It's al ready been three weeks since Myles has arrived into our family and what an entrance he made :) But before I get into those great details I'll just document my last couple of weeks of this pregnancy.
I think the last time I blogged I was about 27 weeks, still working and planning on working as long as could. But then my blood pressure decided to make a come back. Around this time I was having Dr. Appts every month and he always checks my blood pressure. I was always on the border 135/88, 138/89 something like that. My Dr was worried but not to concerned unless it went higher then 145/90. He told me it did then go straight to L&D. So I asked my mom to barrow her blood pressure monitor so I could check it at home. We'll just before Christmas I was getting really bad headaches, blood pressure was going over the border line, starting the have major swelling(more then preggo), etc. So Dr. Ok me to go on Medical leave at 34 weeks (yippee)
February 1st the boys were done at the day home, and I was done at work for a year. Now just to wait for the baby to make his entrance. I was hoping he would come early, but not to early..... Maybe 36 weeks. The boys would go to bed around 8, but wouldn't fall asleep until 9. Then I would crawl into bed at that time. That's how tired I was. We pottied trained Quincy over Christmas holidays so he wasn't fully trained but still on the right track. Maybe one or two accident a week. But still something I didn't want to clean up with a BIG belly around a small toilet.
This pregnancy for some reason feels like it kicked me in the butt. Maybe it's because I have two kids to look after while being pregnant or because I'm older. I don't know, but I do know I was WAY more of a BITCH this time around and I'll admit it. Seriously the last week at work I would just sit in the lunch room, and even if my boss would come in i would tell him " I'm sorry, it's my last week... I'm preggo and tired" he would just laugh. He such a nice guy. But I was just lazy and would sit as much as I could. I thought I would never get my energy back. My hips hurt SO SO SO much much I cringed getting outta bed to the bathroom 5+ x in the night because I had the roll outta bed. My public bone hurt to put on my pants. Tylenol 3's didn't even help the pain. I final had to take ibuprofen for 72 hours(that's all u can take it for while preggo) and that totally took the swelling away in the hip and pubic bone area. Just another part of carrying a baby ( I wouldn't change this for the world ) just me being whiny.
Side note: a lady I work with was due about a year before I had my third. But she ended up having to give birth to a still born around 36-37 weeks because she didn't feel him move. So she went to her Dr's and they checked for a heart beat and couldn't find one, then the Dr sent her to the hospital right away to hook her up to the monitor right away to find the baby's HB. Couldn't find it. It's such a sad, sad story.
Anyways, so I was pins and needles around 35+ weeks feeling for the baby's movements. He was always moving, but when he didn't it would scare me. Even when I would poke him and didn't get him moving it would scare me. But then he would move. He was always a night time mover, like he had his days and nights mixed up inside(little stinker) try sleeping with those kicks. Anyways, one early morning pee break I didn't feel him kick me when I went back to sleep. When I finally woke up with the kids I still didn't feel any movement. So off to the hospital I went. Of course when I get there and get all hooked up he starts to move...ALOT!! Labour and delivery monitor you for a half an hour, then call your dr to make sure it's ok for them to release me. Off I go walking down the hallway of shame :)I told myself then that Im not heading back to L&D until my water breaks.
The last couple of weeks I just kept bouncing on the ball at night time thinking and hoping this would be the night my water breaks. But of course nothing!! I was even trying to do things to get the baby out- taking prime rose oil, and root tea to bring on contractions.
Then my 34th birthday came and we went to Earls for my dinner with my parents & kids. Had a great dinner, and I STUFFED my face of course..lol But during dinner I decided that after dinner I was going to go and get some castor oil and take it as my birthday shooter. I warned my parents that I was going to do this and they just laughed at me. I was that desperate to get this baby out of me!
I went and got the nasty stuff, and came straight home and took it with a glass of OJ. I thought I was going to puke, but also thought if this dosen't help, then it's just going to clean me out( I know gross but it's the truth). So I helped put the kids to bed with Ryan, then him and I started to watch the movie "The Wolf of Wall street". It's about a 3 hr movie, and I was bouncing & rocking on the yoga ball to again help this baby out. Around 2 hrs into the movie Ryan was falling asleep on the couch and asked if we could pause the movie so he could go to sleep. This was about 1:30am. I said sure, but I wasn't tired and just stayed up and watched tv until 3 am ( still on the yoga ball). I finally crawled into bed and fell asleep fast.
Here comes the good part:
At around 5:30 am I rolled over to my right side and I heard a loud pop!!!!!! I jumped outta bed so fast to run to the bathroom ( I even had to step over Quincy because he was sleeping on our floor. We were trying not to let him sleep in our bed anymore due to the baby #3 coming)I just made it to our bedroom door/hardwood floors and the water came out!! My water broke!!!! FINALLY!!!! I yelled and woke up Ryan that my water broke and he kinda got up and looked at me thinking I was joking. After Ryan finally got out of bed, I called my mom to come and get the boys. Well she didn't believe me at first, but then she did. I told her she didn't need to come right away because I wasn't feeling anything, and Ryan still had to add to the hospital bag. So I hung around the front room waiting for Ryan to get done, and my mom to come over. While I was waiting I started to get contractions, but they weren't hurting(that much) or close together. Finally my mom got to the house, and Dylan had woke up wondering what was going on. Then my mom told me she had just taken a sleeping pill around 5 am and it was just kicking in. I cared but didn't care because this baby was coming!! Ryan was still getting his stuff together, so I was really starting to feel the contractions and so I headed out to the van. Well while I was waiting for him in the van the contractions were coming on strong and close!!!! Once Ryan got in the van I told him we needed to get to the hospital and FAST!!!! Good thing we only live a couple blocks away, but I don't think Ryan knew how much pain I was in because it seemed like he was driving like a grandpa. SOOOOooooo then when we got about a block away from the ER( that's were we had to ck in to go up stairs to L&D) he's asking me where should he park because there was construction going on around the hospital and he didn't want a parking ticket. I told him " I don't care, just drop me off" So he did, and I headed in to get registered ( remember my water is still leaking) the lady at the desk took forever. When I stood up from her my water was on her chair, and I didn't care. Ryan and I started to head up but I couldn't walk with all the water, so we got me a wheel chair. We made it up to L&D and I was in pain!!!! I told the nurse right away that I wanted an epidural, and she kindly said " will see how dilated you are" They put me in the monitoring room to ck the baby and me. The nurse said the baby is doing fine, let ck you. Well I was already 4-5 cm dilated and they needed to get me into the delivery room ASAP. But she had to get my IV in first. That was so hard because the contractions were coming on stronger and I couldn't sit still while she poked me.
We got the IV in and moved me to the delivery room, and a new nurse took over because the other one's shift was over. The new nurse was an older nurse and looked like she knew what she was doing. I kept begging for the epidural, and finally she said to me " Your too far along, and can't have one". I then started crying and begging more for one. Then the nurse said to me in a VERY stern voice, " Your not getting one, so you need to start focusing on your breathing"!! I still cried, and begged for one, but not as loud ( in my head) The nurse said she called Dr. Orr and he was on his way up. But I was in so much pain I couldn't handle it anymore!!! The nurse ck me again and I needed to push!!! She said " do you want to push?" and of course I needed to push!!! She called for help ASAP and in 2 pushes I got him out of me!!! ( no I didn't not crap on the table even, he came that fast). Then about 5 mins later my dr showed up and was so suprized that he came that fast and missed all the fun( I don't believe him). I couldn't believe he was here, the nurse had to deliver and I did it without an epidural. This was my first birth without one, and Id rather still get one then do it without.
Myles Ray(after my mother's middle name but boy version) Ryan( after his dad's first name) was born on March 6, 2014, 8 pounds 10oz, 21 1/2 inches with LOTS of hair to make me and all the nurses think he was a little ginger. My heart grew bigger with more love to give to him, and can't wait to see what little personality he is going to bring to our family <3

So do I still have people/friends wanting to read about my life?? *update*
So we've decided to go for a 3rd child!! Yikes!! Ryan and I were on the fence about this for awhile......but we jumped over to the other side(3rd child). To be honest this time around it took us a couple months to get preggo with this one. I was starting to think I was getting to old, and maybe couldn't. But then it happened, and all the memories for being preggo ALL came BACK!!! I became SUPER DUPER tired, and sick. Thank goodness for drugs to help with that :)
We always find out the sex of the baby. I need to be prepared and I couldn't handle going that many months without knowing. We are having another BOY!!!! This is just what I wanted. ALOT of people asked what I would like, and I would tell them a BOY. Not that I wouldn't be happy with a girl, but I just know how to handle boys and I'm all prepared for him :) Also of course my first thought is a healthy baby......but I told Ryan what I wanted and it looks like he listened to me....lol
Boy #3 is due March 13, 2014. Time is really flying by since I'm still working, and I have 2 other boys to chase after. This time around my migraines didn't go away once I was preggo, then came back and stayed a long time ( I usually take meds to keep them from happening, but I can't take the drugs while preggo). So I've dealt with them, and Ryan had stepped up to the plate when I need to go hide and sleep :)
Im now almost 27 weeks, and have got my energy back, and migrains are staying away for now. I did have some high blood pressure at first, but the dr. thinks it was just my hormones going outta wack due to being newly preggo.
I did have a scare of full on bleeding around 21 weeks. We came home from a late Thanksgiving dinner out in Raymond and I went to the bathroom and saw the blood. I called Ryan in and he looked as shocked as me. He didn't know what to do, so I just got my jacket on and said Im going to L&D to see whats going on. Ryan said to text me as soon as I find out what's going on ( he couldn't come with me because someone had to watch the boys and put them to bed :) ). So I got to L&D and they made me do a urine test to see if there was blood- there was a little. Then the nurse tried to find the heart beat with the big monitors but couldn't find it. When that happened I just froze!!! Then the nurse got out the little doppler and found the heart beat. She even turned up the volume so I could hear the heartbeat, and let me listen to it for awhile. I was so relieved, and thank full. She then had to call my dr. While she did that I let Ryan know that the heartbeat was still there. He was relieved as well and said he was Sh*Tting bricks waiting for my text. The nurse couldn't get ahold of my dr. because he was on holidays, but the dr. on call said I go home and come see him the next day.
I couldn't get in to see him, but got to see Dr. Jubber. He ordered me on bedrest, and an ultrasound. The next day I got the ultra sound and everthing was ok. The placenta was still intack, and by the time I had the ultrasound I started to stop bleeding. The ultrasound tech also checked my kidneys(I've given birth to 2 wonderful kidney stones!!!) to see if I had some more, but everything was clear.
As I was on bed rest I was thinking how could this happen? What was I doing that was so hard on my body bleed. Whelp I did alot that day....cleaned walls, laundry, organized the kids draws, cleaned out the crawl space that's in the boys room. I think it was that point I may have leaned on my tummy to get up in the crawl space.( I know not so smart!!)I guess this baby wanted to make himself known that he was still there and I needed to take it easy. And that I have been :)
PS: I've been reading my blog and reminding myself of what scares I have had with being preggo, and the JOYS of having a new baby etc. So in case your wondering why I'm writing this, it's for that and I need to start writing things down more!! Even if I have 3 boys!! lol

Dylan the bamboo shoot
Good day folks and welcome to the Wide World of Dylan! Daddy coming to you LIVE from the epicenter of our media capital...
It has been a few interesting months, to say the least. Our little Dylan boy is becoming not so little anymore. To employ a well known saying, "we can't stop him, we can only hope to contain him." Truer words have never been spoken. It is quite amazing to watch and listen to him GO! If I could figure out how to post video of him now, trust me, I WOULD. Anyway, I'm trying to stay focused and get this completed.
December began on a sad note. On the 3rd my Grandpa William (Bill) Coppieters passed away. A few weeks before, Emily and I had taken Dylan and Quincy out to the Raymond Hospital to visit him and get some pictures. (Quincy's middle name is William in honor of him.) I explained to Dylan that Grandpa was sick and that's why he was in the hospital. When I got the phone call with the news I was visibly upset and when I hung-up Dylan struck my hand with my phone in it and said "NO!" as if it was my phone that had hurt me. I had to laugh thru my tears. After calming down I was able to tell Dylan that his Great Grandpa Bill who was sick, "He sick and in hospital Dad", wasn't sick anymore, that he went to live with our Heavenly Father. Dylan had this look of understanding on his face that will never forget. A week later while we were at the funeral service we let Dylan go play with some cousins at Aunt Mimi's house then we picked him up later to go to the family dinner. He got to play with more cousins and new-found friends and run around.
Christmas was in the air and Dylan was excited, talking about Santa and Rudolph and elves and presents. I even downloaded the Raffi Christmas album that I listened to growing up for Dylan and burned it to CD. It was on constant rotation and we had the obligatory sing-alongs. He got to help his mom when the tree was set up, his job being to put the decorations on. He and Quincy each had their own. It was so thrilling for him, but we continually had to get after him cuz he would take it off the tree to play with. While I was working Dylan would get to help make Christmas crafts with mom and grandma Becky. Emily had a great idea for Christmas Eve afternoon, which was to take Dylan on his very first City Bus ride. He was thrilled and the best part was he got dropped off at Grandmas house! All he wanted from Santa was TRAINS. Got a couple of Thomas Trains and we had to wait a couple days to open and assemble it. One of them came with a big book and puzzle which he and I completed.
Playing with his trains and learning to share with Quincy took us into 2012. As this winter was basically non-existent, I didn't have to work overtime and the weather was so mild that we were able to go to the park and go on the swings quite often. He got to run and laugh and say HI to strangers and their dogs. Any other kids that he would see Dylan would say HI and call them his friends. "Those are my friends, dad!"
Makes me laugh everytime. He loves helping around the house, even when we dont ask him to. He runs to get the wipes, takes out 1 or 6 and starts to wipe things down, with no particular pattern. We have to remind him to put them in the garbage when he's done so that Quincy doesn't suck on them. Dylan LOVES SpiderMan, spiderwebs and stickers. Potty training was almost over and he would forget to ask us for stickers when he was done, but then out of the blue he would ask us to get his sticker books and could be very adamant about it. He is so funny to watch. He'll get his sticker book and go to pages that he's already put stickers on from months back and then he will rearrange them so they fit the spot or go together. Mind blowing! Emily bought some vinyl window stickers to celebrate Valentine's Day and St. Patty's Day, and Dylan just had to help put them on AND arrange them... Plus he had to incorporate his Spidey stickers as well. He and Quincy have spent lots of time at our back sliding glass porch door designing and chewing on them. hmm, it's funny, but I didn't know they are flavored... Dylan loves Quincy. He loves having a brother to feed things to, poke and prod, maul, hug 'n kiss and Quincy, to his credit seems to take it all in stride. He's pretty chill (like me...) It's truly incredible to see my first-born son grow up. Kinda humbling too, but I love it and wouldn't trade it or him for anything.

7 Month Lurch!!
Quincy looking all Cute with his arms folded & a big smile
Quincy is already 7 months, and growing up so fast. I'm loving it, but inside I'm crying :( Time sure fly's by when your having fun, especially around the holidays( a post should follow soon)
***
so here are a few things this little guy is doing to melt our hearts :)
He's not much of a tummy time kind of a guy, but I keep forcing it on him and he's getting the hang of it and loving it. He rolls over all over the carpet but HATES it when he hits his head on the the coffee table or when he rolls onto a toy.OUCH!!! Or his left hand get stuck under his body.
Quincy's 6 month baby picture
Drool, drool, DROOL!!! We go thru so many bibs in a day!! I really don't remember having to change that many bibs with Dylan as we have been doing with Quincy. If we don't put a bib on him then his shirt or outfit is drenched!!! Dylan even get's in on it and tells us we need to change it, or he'll do it himself. I've got him trained ..lol

Here he is 6 months exactly enjoying a cupcake to celebrate :)
Quincy LOVES to smile all the time!! You just look at him and he'll smile at you. I remember with Dylan you had to work REALLY hard to make him smile, and he would just give you the stink eye. But with Quincy he smiles, smiles, smiles!! I sing to him " Where is Quincy, Where is Quincy?" and for sure you will get him looking at you with the biggest smile's no matter what :) Love THAT!!

He finally got his first tooth, lower right at 7 months. He really doesn't notice it's there, but Dylan like's to put his finger in his mouth and rub it. I didn't know Quincy was teething AT ALL!!!! His personality didn't change at all. His drooling was the same, he didn't have a fever, he wasn't cranky, he was eating. The only thing that told me that he got a tooth was I put my finger in his mouth and felt it ..lol

Quincy with his Late Great grandpa Coppieters. He was named after him Quincy William....
Quincy LOVES his exa-saucer toy. He loves talking to his toys. Dylan loves playing around his feet. Quincy loves jumping in his exasaucer toy thingy too. If he could, he would spend all day in there :)

He is starting to get more into a scheld. He know's at 11:00 am it's feeding time, then morn. nap time. Which I think it's funny how things just start happening/falling into a schelds. Then around 4:30-5:00pm it's another meal time. He now sleeps thru the night from 7:30-8:30am. But he still sleeps in the bassinet in our room. I need to just take the step and put him in the crib in Dylan's room and see what happeneds. But I'm also afraid of seeing what happeneds with Dylan waking him up in the morning. But I guess that's just the brakes of having kids sharing rooms.. right??

The boys during game day
Quincy is making the funniest face right now, but of course when we get out our camera he doesn't make the face. He really only makes it when we don't feed him fast enough. He tilts his head back, squints his eyes, and has the biggest smile but then makes a squeal sound. It's the funnest thing....but of course every parent is going to say that about there kids :) We will keep trying to get it on camera.

This is the start of him making the face but Dylan distracted him with finishing it off...lol
He of course loves his high chair too. He thinks he is the king of the castle, but I think it's because he can see everyone at eye level instead of on the ground..lol. Dylan loves to try to feed him. I just let him feed him the those yogurt melts, or banana puffs. Dylan is a big help, and Quincy LOVES his BIG brother....Lots of SMILES & Giggles with those two :)

A fun picture
I've started to let Quincy drink out of a sippy cup, which he LOVES!!! He's got it down pack with the drinking, holding....just not to good with the tilting the head back all together..lol But he can do it when he's throwing his little fit..lol

I weighed him and he's 18.2 pounds, and he's about 2 feet :) I wonder if he'll be taller then Dylan??
we are starting to call Quincy LURCH!! He was sitting on Ryan's right side lap, and I was sitting on Ryan's left side holding a piece of paper in my left hand not paying attention. All of a sudden Quincy LURCHED forward and grabbed that piece of paper and almost fell outta Ryan's arms. He really wanted the piece of paper. We both laughed, and went on with what we were doing before hand. Well not Quincy he really wanted that piece of paper. So he did it again!! LURCHED, and got that piece of paper and held onto it nice and tight. Ryan and I both laughed out loud. But the look on Quincy's face was pretty priceless!! Ever since then he doesn't care how far he is from things he'll still try and get it even though it means he's going to fall off the couch head first. ( Sad, sad story :( I just need to put him on the floor from now on instead of leaving him on the couch )
He started to sit up kinda by himself around the 4-5 month mark. But now he can do it on his own, unless he lurches for something then he can really hit hard on the floor!!!
Food right now it any kind of fruit- mixed fruit, peaches, pears, banana's etc. The main meal area he's ok with anything but the carrots and pea's right now. I'm still working on it.....but he's a smarty pants and he knows....how at this age do they know?? Where also feeding him those puff thingy's and yogurt melts.
So that's about all that's going on with this little bundle of joy that's growing up too fast. I still love the cuddle's that I can have with him, even if it means him grabbing at my nose, hair, or poking me in my eye to wake me up. I love this little guy and can't wait to see what the next 6 months brings & what Character he's going to bring to our family :)

All Bundled up

Things I forget about having a new born..
Things I forget with having a new born
- Breastfeeding....I'm going to be honest, I have a hard time with producing milk. I thought with Quincy being full term this would be easy and I wouldn't have a problem with giving him what he needed. whelp I was wrong :( I wasn't starving him, he was a content little guy, just not gaining anything. We had to go to formula at 8 weeks
- Baby weight... Oh the joys of baby weight. When I was putting it on I would tell myself "I'm pregnant", and I would just work hard to get it off. Well that time is now.
- Balancing a new born and 28 month old. I'm getting better at it, but how does a 28 month understand when his little brother is crying that his needs need to be meet before his. But now that Quincy is formula feed he can be feed faster and taken care of faster, so Dylan can get his juice or whatever he needs done sooner :)
- When leaving the house you REALLY need to make sure the diaper bag is fully stocked with what you need, and don't leave ANYTHING out, or your HOOPED!!! lol
-SLEEP!!!! When Dylan came home from the hospital he was on a sleep schedule but Quincy we had to do it on our own. I not complaining because I'm going to do this all over again with another child, but boy you sure do loose alot :) I would like to say though that Quincy is now sleeping thru the night for about 7-8 hours a night :) Dylan on the other hand is getting up every night around 1:30-2 am yelling for me or Ryan. We always end up letting him come into bed with us, but the last couple of nights I've left his door open and told him to stay in bed, but if he gets out of bed I'll close it. He's actually stayed in bed and gone back to sleep. So maybe(fingers crossed) this will do the trick.
- Laundry, Laundry, LAUNDRY!!!! LOTS!!! LOTS!!! That's all its seems I'm doing, if I skip a day I make up for it the next day. If I plan a trip I know I'm doing laundry when I'm packing to leave, and I know I'll be doing laundry when I get back. Who knew we'd go thru so much. Maybe I'm just a clean freak. lol
well to end this funny post are some cute picture's of my boys. So enjoy :)

Mini-Me version 2.0?!
It was the morning of Saturday, June 11th... I had gotten up and casually checked my Facebook acct while I conducted the morning's paperwork. it happened to be my sister Sonia's birthday, and her status said that her wish was to have her nephew born on her birthday. "Nice one", I chuckled, as I quickly wisht her a Happy Birthday on her wall. Emily had planned to go to BINGO as part of her friend's birthday celebration, which happened to be the same day (HI Amanda Shaw!) So... I agreed that I would sacrifice my sleep schedule to hang with Dylan while mommy was away making old ladies cuss (yelling BINGO!). Em left about noon and my little boy and I were left to our own devices. Hmmmm, what to do...
"Dylan, u want some juice?" "Okay."... "Hey, d'ya wanna go downstairs to Daddy's room and listen to RECORDS?" "Weckerds?! Okay! Chwain weckerd?!" "You bet, Mister, the train record, CHOO-CHOO!!" And off we went downstairs to my music room to listen to a few records, but mostly the train record I have and D loves. So I turn on the equipment and drop the needle and then keep him from hitting every button he can see. "Sit nice", I say... "Chwain?! Chwain?!" "Yes!", I say,"It's playing if you will sit still and listen to the record, Dylan." 5 more minutes is all his attention can take, there's just too much stimuli for him, so we head back upstairs to find something else to do... Little did I know that the entire time my phone had been vibrating in my pocket.
I sit at the table to open up the computer while his show is on the tv. Already he has run off to the POTTY to flush it... All of a sudden the front door opens and Em walks in. I'm thinking,"Oh, she had 2nd thoughts about BINGO", until I notice the wet stains on her khaki legs and the look on her face. She blurts out,"I called & called you! Where's your phone?!" "In my pocket, on vibe...I must not've felt it... D & I were just downstairs listening to records... Your water break, babe?!" (Pretty obvious question, I know, but c'mon, I asked didn't I? I'm playin' the role of the concerned husband...)
Yes, the water has broken. Game on, GAME ON!! She tells me me her parents have been notified and we gotta get Dylan ready for them to pick up. Em calls the hospital to find out how soon she needs to come in and they say right away. Of course they're gonna say that. We get D all ready and the rest of what we need. Grandma Becky shows up, Dylan is excited and we tell him when we see him next he's gonna have a new lil brother. "Brother?" "Yeah", we say, "Do you want a lil brother?" "Okay bye!" That made us laugh. Em and I looked at each other when they left and said,"Well, let's go see what happens!" Off to the hospital we go, then up to Labour & Delivery to get admitted.
They had been very busy that weekend and all the regular delivery suites were either in use or not cleaned up yet, so they put us in the overflow/storage room for the time being... Kinda cold but it was all they had at the moment. The nurses were nice and apologetic, saying they had a room for us that was being cleaned up. Em and the baby were being monitored and everything looked okay. Soon enough were moved into a suite and set up camp, hoping it wouldn't be a long labour. Em made sure to tell the nurses she wanted the epidural. The nurse said that as long as she was dilated enough that wouldn't be a problem and advised us to go for a walk to help the progression. Oki doke! We headed down to the gift shop to look around and get a few post-labour snacks. Em started feeling really nauseous and headed back to the room while I paid for the stuff. We got her back to the room to lay down and relax. Then the nurses had another brilliant idea! How bout she get on the big exercise ball and give that a go? Okay! Soon as she did more water leaked out and turned the floor into a skating rink. Nix that, folks- how bout just lay down and chillax. Em was ready for the epidural and welcomed it gladly! I just wanted her to be comfortable. Bing Bang Boom, it was done and she felt waaaaaay better, at least for a bit. Her blood pressure started to drop and she felt really sick. She had to get a couple bags of IV fluid pumped in quick to help bring it back up, then got a touch up on the epidural. I felt relieved! The doctor's checked in to see how she was doing and said it wouldn't be too long.
Before we knew it the nurses and doctor were in the room with us and had Em pushing. She was a trooper! It seemed like lickety-split and our our new baby boy was out and squealing. I cut the umbilical cord and then went to his side to began getting video footage, while the nurse cleaned him up. Now, I don't mean for this to sound blah or anything but his birth just seemed alot easier and anti-climactic than when Dylan was born. I was happy to finally get to meet our son and that he was healthy. The best part was the fact that Emily, Quincy and I got to hangout in the suite by ourselves afterward. It was just so peaceful. Em relaxed in the bed and I just sat there holding our special bundle. Wow, #2!! By 2 o'clock the next afternoon we walked out of the hospital. No messing around.
Oh, and by the way... Dylan LOVES his lil brother!

A little late- Mommy's Story
So finally the big day HAPPENED....MY WATER BROKE!!!!
BEWARE BIRTH STORY
I'm going to admit that this pregnancy has been the LONGEST months of my life, especially near the end. Everyday I would wake up and tell myself that today will be the day. Also every time I would make another dr.'s appt I would tell myself I won't make it till then. lol So of course I did try all the "Home Remedies" to get this baby out that I would read on one of my apps 10x a day. Walk, waddle, waddle, walk, bounce on the yoga ball, clean, evening primrose oil, etc. You get the point, but who knows what worked since I did all of them :) So here's the day...
Saturday June 11, 2011
I was all gun ho on going to play BINGO for my friends birthday. Ryan was staying home with Dylan and even was going to mess up his sleep scheld.just so I could get out with my girlfriends. I go all ready to show off my bump since my friends haven't seen me for a month or two. Just before I left I mentioned to Ryan that my BUMP was HUGE!!!, and he laughed. I got to the bingo hall and none of my friends where there yet, so I texted them and they said they were on there way. So I waited in my van, replied to my sister in-laws status that she wished her nephew would be born on her birthday and decided to clean and organize the glove box from the drivers side. 10 mins later as I leaning over I felt a little bit of warmness, I stopped and thought " Did I just pee myself?" I didn't know so I moved more and nope not peeing myself...MY WATER BROKE!!!! I looked around to see if my friends were pulling up and I couldn't see anyone so I drove home. I kept calling,& calling Ryan to tell him what had happened but he didn't pick up the phone. So as I'm driving still I call my mom and tell her what happened so she could come and get Dylan. When I told her you could tell in her voice how excited she was that the baby was finally coming too, and she got to have Dylan for the next couple of nights :)
I pull up to the house and didn't want to get out of the van because I knew the gush of water would come, and didn't want the neighbours to think I'm peeing my pants. lol I was wearing the khaki pants so you could totally see I had wet pants. Anyways I walk in the door and look at Ryan right away, he asked "Why are you home?" I point to my pants and say the water has broken :) He looked shocked, but smirked a little. He didn't answer the phone because he was feeding Dylan. I told him my mom was on her way to come and get Dylan. I still needed to pack his bag so I grabbed a towel and made my own diaper so I could walked around and pack. I looked pretty funny, but it sure did the trick :) Dylan was excited that Grandma was coming, but he didn't understand that his world was going to change in the next 24 hrs. I got his bag packed, while Ryan got himself ready. My mom came and got D and just asked that we keep her in touch on whats happening.
Ryan waiting in the creepy room
Ryan and I decided before that we weren't going to put it on facebook, tell friends, or family when labor was happening because we wanted it to be special for US. Last time with Dylan there were so many dr.s, nurses, student nurses, etc. Then we also had to keep people in touch with texting, phone calls, etc. So back to my friends who were wondering where I went because they knew I was at the Bingo hall. They asked what happened and all I could think of to tell them is I threw up on myself!!! lol And they fell for it.
After my mom left I wasn't in pain, or having contractions-just leaking! I decided to call Labor and Delivery and see if it was important that I come in or could I just wait it out at home until something happens. They told me to come in to get checked and then decide if I should get admitted yet or not. I agreed to come in. I was already packed, but I had to wait around for Ryan to get his stuff together and get ready to head to the hospital. I didn't want to put a new pair of pants on yet until we were on our way out the door. Finally we were out the door, and on our way. It was just surreal that today was the day. I tried so hard to get him out, that now it was finally happening. Then all of a sudden I remembered all the stuff that happened during labor & after!!!! CRAP!!!
Ryan dropped me off while he parked the car, and I went to get admitted. We got up to l&D and they were busy. So they put us in this back back creepy room with all the old monitors, old bed, just creepy. They didn't even have the proper stuff in the room, pads, gowns, thermometer, etc. They hooked me up to the monitor first off to check on the baby. Baby wasn't active at all, because I hadn't eaten anything ALL day( I was waiting to eat the greasy food at the Bingo hall). So they gave me some juice and that perked the baby right up. As I was waiting for the baby to be fine I started getting contractions....ummmm they started hurting, and STRONG!!! I was getting worried that this baby was going to come out fast, and I wasn't going to get my epidural. I had three nurses come in and everyone of them I told them I was getting contractions and wanted an epidural. They laughed, and I told them serious I don't want to miss my chance. Finally another room got open for me and I got out of the creepy room, and I got a nurse that was there to stay with me. My nurse Carly checked me and I was only 3-4 cm dilated. THAT'S IT??!!! She convinced me to walk around and once I get to a good 4 then I could get my epidural. Ryan and I decided to walk down to the gift shop and buy a paper for that day( it's a keep sake for the baby so they can see what happened in the news the day they were born), and get some candy for the after birth hunger. As we were in the shop I was getting contractions, and then I felt sick!! Like I was going to pass out and throw up. I left Ryan while he paid, and went back up stairs to my room. I told my nurse what happened and she then suggested I go rock on the yoga ball. I did, but then the contractions came on STRONGER, and more gushes of water came out. I told Carly that I was done with walking and the ball. She then decided to check me out and I was a good 4 cm, and was going to order the epi. I was happy, but still feeling sick as well knowing what was coming. I also asked for some gravol to get rid of the sick feeling.
The anesthesiologist Dr. Stewart came in and gave me the best spinal block ever!! My legs were DEAD and the pain was gone!! But all of a sudden I felt sick!!! Lite headed, shaky, hot, I was going to throw up!! Something didn't feel right!!! The nurse that was covering Carly while she was on lunch just kinda kept asking me questions, wasn't doing anything for me. Finally I said something is not right!!! Dr. Stewart came back in the room and quickly grab my IV bag and squeezed it so I would get my blood pressure up, it dropped to 88/43. WOW!!! Right away I felt so SO MUCH better. I thanked her for the epi and for not letting me pass out. She was SUPER NICE!!! But I still felt sick so I got my gravol :) It was about 4-5 pm. I felt great, like lets get this show on the road. I got checked and I was only a 5-6 cm dilated, and my contractions were not progressing or consistent. My nurse Carly told me that if things didn't get going then they might have to give me pitocin to help me along. I had the same stuff with Dylan but this time I knew I was ok because I didn't get my epi till after the pitocin kicked in with the PAINFULL contractions with him, but with this baby I knew I was good if they did have to give it to me because I had my epi. So we just waiting for nature to take it course. Dr. Burton came in to check on me, but told me that his daughter has a dance recital and he might not be here to deliver the baby but Dr. D. Stewart will cover for him if he's not back in time, which was fine because he dad Dr. Cal Stewart is my family dr and he brought me into this world.
Around 6pm we decided that they should call the Dr. and ask if I could start getting the pitocin going. Dr. said sure. But all of a sudden I started feeling the contractions on my right hip which was strange, but PAINFULL ( I don't know how ladies go threw birth natural, I'm a BABY)I even had the little button to push to give me extra medicine, but that wasn't doing ANYTHING in that right hip. They were about to give me the pitocin but I wanted this epi fixed before anything. My new nurse Marissa told me sometimes it doesn't stay working all the time and I might have to go threw delivery how it is. I got scared and told her I didn't want the pitocin until we tried to get Dr. Barb Stewart (anesthesiologist) to come back and fix the epi. She came back(thank goodness) and topped off my meds and made EVERYTHING BETTER!!! I was relieved that I wasn't going to go threw this delivery with pain. Now my legs were supper SUPPER DEAD, like I couldn't even sit up in bed, or roll over. Its a strange feeling, and at one point my legs were falling off the bed and if I fell over I wouldn't be able to do anything!! Just a strange feeling. lol

The sweet bruise I got from my IV
Marissa started my pitocin around 7-7:30 and it sure got things done. Bye 8pm was ready to push. Dr. D Stewart was delivering. The pushing began and I was worried how big this baby was going to be because Dylan was a premie. Then I went to almost full term with this baby I thought it was going to be over 10 pounds!!! I was wrong, baby just had a BIG BIG head thanks to his father. I even told that to the nurses & dr's. They laughed. I always thought that and saw on TV that once the head is out the whole body just comes out. I was WRONG!! The baby's head came out, and I said to the dr. " Get him out??" and he kinda laughs and says " You still need to push him out" lol I can see why the baby didn't come right out because his right should got stuck!!! Finally I gave my last ALL push and the baby was OUT!!!!! I was so relieved!! This may sound bad but I really didn't want to hold him once he was out, I would rather hold him when he's a little cleaned up. So when he came out the dr. was going to put him on my chest but caught himself and placed him beside him on the bed while Ryan cut the cord. After that I started bleeding in my mind lots, and while we were waiting for the placenta to come more gushes of blood came out, even got on the dr.s paints and ALL OVER the floor beside my bed. With Dylan I don't remember bleeding that much, but I wasn't really paying attention as much as this time around. They didn't have to give me any bags of blood, but I kinda wish they did because I was light headed for the next couple of days. All they kept telling me is drink lots of water/fluids. Anyways, I finally got to hold my little Man Quincy William Pierce.....born June 11th, 2011 @ 8:25, 8 pounds 1 0z, 21 3/4 inches long. He is handsome little man, to me he looks just like his older brother. But again I'm never good at telling who the kids look like at this young age :)

Quincy looks a little blue and purple and scrunched up :)

Quincy is again a GREAT baby. He sleeps, eats, poops, sleeps etc. At night he sleeps for about 4-5 hours straight. I can't complain at all. Ryan took the week and a half off which helped out alot with keeping Dylan busy while I fed. BF is going good but my milk supply is in question. I really want to BF and am taking some meds to help keep my milk in. I really like BF at night because you don't have to get up...lol But if I have to go to bottles I'll be really sad. So fingers crossed. Other then that things are GREAT!! I'm in love with the new addition to our family and can't wait and see what kind of character Quincy is going to bring into our lives. :)

39 weeks
The baby is still cooking!! WOWZA I can't believe I've lasted this long to be honest. I had my Dr. appt yesterday and I'm measuring 43 weeks!!!! Holy CRAP this baby is going to be HUGE!!! I go from a 5 pound 14 oz baby to this?? I want this baby out, and I talked with my Dr. about when we start talking about getting induced and he said not till I'm 11 days over will do it. WHAT??? That's a LONG ways away. Every day I say to myself today is going to be the day, and then nothing but braxton hicks/cramping/ & contractions.
Last night I went to L&D because I was having contractions but couldn't time them because while they started I would get a good pubic pressure with lots of cramping. It started in the afternoon, but really got stronger in the evening. Doesn't it always work that way. So I had to wake up Dylan, call my parents to come and get him, then keep Ryan informed because he works nights-didn't want him to take time off work if it was a false alarm. Well it was.....while I was there they hooked me up and baby was doing fine, but there were minor contractions, but nothing she could feel on my stomach. So of course I had to do the walk of shame!! I hate that, but it's better to be safe then sorry. I still have LOTS of pressure down there that I can't lay down, sit on the yoga ball, sit on the couch without it hurting. I don't know what to do, but I just keep telling myself baby is going to be here soon and it's just the process of things. But IT HURTS!!! After I did the walk of shame I told myself that I am not going to go back to L&D until my water has rupture, then I know I will be admitted.
So here's the best picture EVER of me.........NOT!!!! But I told myself with the pregnancy Im going to take a picture every week not matter how fat & ugly I feel. So here ya go.....LOVE ME!!!! lol

What else we've been up too
The baby has decided to still stay cooking in my belly which is good, but not so good on Mommy. I really thought I'd have this baby early so I kinda had it in my mind I wouldn't be prego this LONG!!! I have a new respect for the women out there that go over there due date!! I'm happy that he's staying in because I won't have a baby in the NICU, but with Dylan they put him on a good scheld. and I'll have to do that with this one...on my own...lol Oh well this is me just ranting.....but I'm also SUPER excited to have this little guy out so he can meet us & his BIG brother. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, so I only have 3 weeks to go if that :)
We've also been potty training Dylan since he knows when he go pee or poop in his diaper he tells us but he's ok with staying in the dirty diaper.(When we want to change him he won't let us) With that it makes it harder for him to understand that he could have a clean bum every time he goes in the BIG boy potty. I haven't used pull ups because I think they are a waste of money, it's just another more expensive diaper with Toys story characters on it. But I could use them down the road for night time use. So what we've been doing at first is just letting him run around the house nekkid and put the potty in front of the tv/front room. First day he had about 4 accidents, but when he would go we give him a treat so every time he would do a little tinkle he would ask instantly for a treat. Little bugger figured it out to get more treats out of us. But if we go out I put on a diaper just because I'm too lazy to remind him while I'm shopping etc. I know I need to suck it up, but we are in no hurry to train him. If he does it great, but if not I know tomorrow is another day :) But this week we are letting him wear big boy underwear and trying to train him to pull them down. These last two days he has done great....I also tell him that Diago doesn't like to be wet..lol It's been working great. So will see how long this will go on, he could fall backwards once the baby is born and I'm ok with that :)

These are picture's of him back in October when I was just trying him on potty training to see if he was ready....and he wasn't

This is him sitting in front of the tv doing his business :)
Also we have been trying to get "My To Do List" done before this baby comes. Which it almost done except our fence needs to get done, but our neighbour is not ready yet. Oh well looks like I'll have an excuse for not helping because Ill be looking after the baby :) Ryan has done a GREAT job with doing the list since I can't do much bending over, digging, etc. Dylan has been loving the freedom he has now outside in the front of the house when we are working. He tries to help with pulling weeds, but can't grab them that good so he'll say "Mommy help?" Oh well some day he'll be doing this for his Mommy :) We need to work on getting rid of our tree stumps without having them removed. We bought stump remover from the states where you drill holes into the stump and place the liquid in the holes and wait for it to dry out. Then you burn the stump....it's going to be a little hard with the stump in the back since it's so close to the house. Well see what happens with that stump, we might have to get it professionally removed.
So that's about it in our household, just waiting now for the baby to arrive :)

Catch Me, Catch Me....
Ok, so I really need to update on a couple (lots) of events that have happened.
First off we did not win the lottery......which sucks!! lol
So Im going all the way back to Easter...I know that's how long its been :)
I remember always doing an Easter egg hunt we I grew up, so we did that with Dylan even though it was easy for adults to find the eggs. Here are some picture's

A place we hid the candy on my window/picture frame

Collecting all the candy and putting them in his Halloween bucket :)

Candy & his toy on his couch

Another easy hiding place

Him eating his candy INSTANTLY for breakfast

Showing his Candy/Easter eggs

His famous smile..."CHEEZE"

Playing with his bubble Easter Bunny from Grandma&Grandpa Shirley....He loves it, and I do too because I don't have to keep blowing bubbles for him :)
Then we went out to Ray Town to Ryan's parents and had Easter dinner, and let the cousins play. Grandpa Coppieters took all the kids out on his quad, which was ALOT of fun for the kids. I'm such a bad parent that I didn't take any pictures. But it was sure cute to see Dylan riding up front with Grandpa honking the horn driving around.
After they kids had fun on the quads, Grandpa took the grandkids to the Fire Hall. I did take picture's of this, and all the kids had a blast!!!

Dylan with Grandpa's Fire Hat

Dylan in front of the Fire Truck

Addi and Dylan on the boat

Again Addi & Dylan on the boat....it almost looks like there holding hands :)

What happening??
This is a warning that this may be a long post and a little too much, but this is for me to document what's going on with this pregnancy :) Now remember Im 32 1/2 weeks.
I've been having off and on contractions/braxton hick/cramping for awhile now- nothing new. But last Tuesday I thought I felt a little gush of liquid that I couldn't stop. I didn't think I needed to go to the hospital, just thought to myself that I would keep and eye on it if my water broke. Nothing was leaking for the next couple of days. Until Friday I was sitting on the couch eating my sandwich with my legs kinda opened. All of a sudden I felt a little gush again!! So I finally tell Ryan what's been going on this week with me "Maybe" leaking, and I asked him if I should go to L&D? Of course he said "yes". Ryan stayed home with Dylan while I went and I didn't think it would take long. They would just do a swab or something and send me on my way.
I get up to L&D and right away I go pee in a cup so they could do a dip and see if they catch any amniotic fluid. The nurse comes back and say there is a "little, Little" trace of something along with traces of maybe a UTI. I've never had a bladder infection, and I didn't have any symtoms of it either. The nurse sent it to the lab so they could do a better test on it. But while we were waiting the nurse wanted to do another test that you swab down there for about a min-rotating the swab (NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL )This would tell her if I did for sure have fluid. Well when she pulled it out it was BLOOD!! I looked at her and asked " Is this normal?", and she looked at it suprised too and said "No". But then she said this could just be my "Bloody show" The nurse did the test with that swab and it came back to negative with it not being amniotic fluid, which was a relief, but why the blood?? So after that she decided to call my Dr. and see what he wanted done, he decided to come down and check me out.
Dr. Burton came down and wanted to take precaution and make sure we did all the tests to be sure I was not in pre-term labor. So he did three more swabs, 2nd&3rd of them are culture reading that I won't find out the results for a couple of days. The 1st swab is called Fetal Fibronectin test. This test has I think 96% chance of telling you if your going to deliver in the next 7-10 days. I had to wait another hour for the results, and that test came back positive!!! WHAT??? The nurse explained to me that f this test came out neg. then they would know for sure I'm not going into pre-term labor. But because it came out positive then it still Im still in limbo and they don't know what to tell me!! lol So right away my dr. got me my first shot of steroids to help develop the baby's lungs, and for me to come back to next day for my last shot. Then all my nurse could say is if your water breaks breaks, bleeding, or strong contractions then I am to come back to L&D. She also said I can continue doing whatever I was doing before, but I've been taking it easy with LOTS of help from Ryan.
I have been bleeding off and on, but nothing serious. I am a little scared this baby is going to come early, but I feel ok with it since I got the shots to help with the lungs. Dylan was born at 34 1/2 weeks and I'm hoping this baby will last longer. I really REALLY don't want to have another baby in the NICU while still trying to take care of a 2 year old. But if things happen I am prepared :) I have an appt with my dr. today to see what the test result are, and to check me out.

2 year picture's

These are seriously the only 3 poses that we got from him. I would sit him down and say "smile" and he would do that smile but then get up and walk out of the studio. We would get him, place him down and say Smile, then up he went again. He did not want to stay long for picture's. I miss those days when they were babies and you could just plop them down and they would stay still for picture's. I still love these picture's, it just show's the character that he is going to be :)
