Lock DOWN!!!

First my little man has grown up so fast, and now he's moved onto a big boy bed. I was a little hesitant at first because he didn't mind his crib, wouldn't climb out ( except one night), he enjoyed his jumping time in there,& throwing everything on the floor before he settled in. But with this baby coming & a free bed and matters from my sister I thought why not put him in a big boy bed. He was so excited when we set up his bed. We kept telling him it's all his. When we put his bed spread on that he helped pick out, he then had to get all his stuffed animals, along with his blankie. Then he would lay down and pretend to go to sleep and kept saying "nite nite". I'm not going to lie I was sad, but happy at the same time. The first night went great, of course he enjoyed the freedom of getting out of his bed and knocking 2 times( he always just Knocks 2 times no matter what) then yelling "HELLO?" I would yell " get back to bed" and then you hear his little feet patter quickly back in to bed. This went on for a good half hour, but that was it!!! He was out!! I couldn't believe how easy that was. I was thinking to myself why didn't we do this sooner?? Oh well, better late then never. One good thing is he dosen't know how to open up doors yet. So I can still lay in bed a little longer while he's "trapped" in his room :)

Now the bad with him being FREE(well kind of). He gets into what ever he can in his room, when he should be in his bed going to sleep. He turns his nite light on and off- over & over again. He will then proceed to move the crib around the room( for some stupid reason the crib dosen't have locks on the wheels). Oh don't forget between all his fun he still takes time out to knock 2x and yell "HELLO!"( meaning are u going to come in here and do something about this?) we try to ignore him, but laugh at the same time. So for his last horay of the night is to re-organize his clothes!!!!!He Takes them all out( good thing only three draws) put them on the floor, mix them up and then proceed to put them all back in one draw. Little STINKER!!! So after the first night, and his nap the next day I had to think of something.....this is all that I could think of and it actually works. I wonder how long its going to last until he can figure out to take the tape off. I still LOVE him to bits :)

Little Scare....

So I've been having braxton hicks for the past 2+ weeks, along with really REALLY painful pressure on the pubic bone. So bad I couldn't walk without pain!! Then over a week ago I had braxton hicks none stop for 3 hrs, 1 hicks every 10 mins. I was worried and drank some water, layed on my left side to help stop the hicks. They finally went away for that night, but then would come off and on for the next couple of days, along with pressure/pain. I called my dr.s office and he was away on holidays, and the secretary didn't know what to tell me, but to use my intuition. So finally on Thursday night I had enough and called labour and delivery to see if I needed to come in. They said YES. So I told Ryan that they want to see me just to make sure everything is ok, and with Dylan coming early they didn't want to take any chances with me. I went by myself and the whole time driving there I felt like a tool, and thinking of everything that I needed to do around the house for this baby if I was in labour. I was also thinking of the last time I was up here when my water broke with Dylan and I still didn't think I was going to get admitted. LOL Anyways, the nurses were great!! They listened for the heart beat which was good, felt my stomach if I was having a braxton hick, and got me water so I could pee in a cup to make sure my water didn't break. Everything came back ok. They called my dr. and he said that if things got worse, or my water breaks, or start bleeding that I needed to come back to the hospital. He also gave me some T3's for the pressure. I explained to the nurses that I'm sorry I took up there time and they assured me that its fine that I came down. They also said it's better to check me out then for me to keep putting it off and go into pre-term labour. So I guess it wasn't a waste of time for either of us.

Since this weekend I've been feeling better, but that pressure is still there that won't go away. I guess it just comes with being pregnant and I can add it to the list of things :)

What to do....

Ok so if you know me I need to be prepared for things, especially having a baby!! Even though this baby #2 is due in 3 1/2 months, I think this one is going to come early just like Dylan. As you know we found out what were having, which I'm happy with because we have everything we need for a boy, except diapers. Anyways, when we got our ultra sound the tech did it really fast, and I just have a different feeling that this could be a girl. Also when my dr. told us he told us also right away that this is not always a 100% right. I also know a girl who went thru her whole pregnancy being told she was having a boy....turned out to be a girl!!!

This is going to sound dumb too, but I've done the Chinese gender chart for my friends and I and they are all right, except for this 2nd one it says a girl. I also did the pin and needle thread on the belly and it comes back a girl. Then last night I went and saw my friends grandma who does the needle on the belly and wrist thingy. She has been right with herself, her kids & grandchildren. The wrist thingy tells you how many kids your going to have including your miscarriages, and what sex of the babies they are. The first came back as a boy (that's my miscarriage) second came back as a boy-Dylan, and the last one was a girl(this one). I'm kinda sad it only said I was going to have 3 kids, because I was thinking more :) So then she did the needle on the belly for me and its a GIRL!!! lol Trust me I know I'm looking way into this and I should just wait till the due date. But now I'm actually thinking of getting a 3d scan done so I can be at peace. Ryan is ok if we pay for it or not. But then my cheapness comes out and I don't want to pay $125 just to find out!!! I just don't want to be healing after the baby while getting the clothes all organized. I'm just going to suck it up and get ready for a boy and see what happeneds :) Just whats going on in my head :)

Results are in......

ANOTHER ONE OF THESE........ HANDSOME BOY

So today we got to find out what where having,..........and it's another BOY!!!!I'm so EXCITED!!! Our first child Dylan was the best baby, slept thru the night, would eat GREAT, etc. I'm also excited to see if this son will look the same as Dylan. I always thought it was a boy this whole time, then we had the ultra sound and my husband saw his "jewels". I'm so happy it's another boy!!! We've told our family, and a couple of friends. What's funny is everyone wonders how I'm feeling because they think since I'm a girl I want a little girl. I wouldn't mind one, but the reason why I'm not ready is because I was a LITTLE BRAT when I was younger, I can admit this. Whenever I was in trouble or sassy etc. my mom would always say to me " Just wait till you have a little girl like YOU". So maybe that's why I'm a little scared on having a girl, but I also have trouble doing my own hair so I can't imagine what my little girls hair would look like LOL As my dr. and his staff told me that it's a boy, they always add to the end it's not 100% accurate. I've heard stories too like this so you never know until your holding that bundle of joy in your arms :)

Time is going by so quick with this pregnancy then my last one. Maybe because Dylan keeps me busy :) My blood pressure was a little high at the beginning and I was spotting lots + cramping. I was also under some stress at work, so I asked my dr. if I could go on medical leave. He said sure and gave me my note. So that's been helping ALOT, I had my blood pressure checked today and it's 110/70. Way WAY better then 160/98!!! This pregnancy has been kicking me in the butt with being TIRED all the time, I'm feeling better this month but some days are better then others. I'm also craving different things this time around....fruit, LOTS of grapefruit, apples, and french fries especially Mcdonald's.;)

So now the big thing is to pick out names. When we decided on the name Dylan we didn't tell ANYONE of the names we were picking from. This time I've told a couple people and they've turned there nose at ALL the names!!! I hate to say this but were probably going to be picking one of those names and I already know how there going to feel about it. It bugs ME!!! I don't know why, but maybe that's why we shouldn't tell people the choices we have. I will take ideas from people, that's not the problem but just keep your thoughts or expressions to yourself if you want to hear OUR names that WE(as in Ryan and I) get to pick out for OUR CHILDREN!!! So I'm going to stop and just let people know when the baby is born!!! Done & done :)

Time 4 a swim?

Hello fellow bloggers & followers!
This is daddy's 1st post here. I'd figure I would tell how last Saturday our lil fam ventured out in the wind and snow, made our way down and up the Whoop Up hill to take Dylan to his 2nd swim lesson. We hopped out the van and headed indoors to get changed, while mommy parked our limo, uhhh, van I mean. Dylan and I got into the change room, I went to get in my sexy trunks and there they were - GONE!! It seemed as though, in my haste, I didn't put them in the bag with our towels. ARRRGH!! I felt so bad and apologized to my eager lil boy over and over. Still mifft about it! Anyways, we decided to go get some books at Chapters and get a hot beverage at Starbucks. Turned into a pretty good day. This weekend I aim to get in the pool with Dylan. Too da loo, and until next time- keep fit and have fun!
